• Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday

  I’ve photographed Nelson Mandela many times before and was asked to join the celebrations for his 90th birthday here in London. The day was exhausting but I managed to capture a sweet moment of relaxed intimacy between husband and wife before more guests arrived and more photos were taken.

  I traveled up to Liverpool this weekend to attend the Stella Loves Liverpool fashion show. It was really good to see that Sir Paul and Yoko Ono were able to put their infamously fractious relationship behind them and enjoy a good old gossip at the show!

  Giorgio kindly invited me out to New York to photograph one of the most star studded events of the year. It was great to be able to capture such a line up of names and spend the evening partying with them. It was certainly a night to remember!!

• George Clooney dinner hosted by Harpers Bazaar

  George is so very debonair, so much so Harpers Bazaar hosted a dinner for him in celebration of his latest movie release and invited me along to be a part of the exclusive evening. George radiates charm, it was lovely to see the genuine warmth with which he greeted Oceans 13 pal Matt Damon.
