  The Queen of pop Madonna graced the red carpet for her husband Guy Ritchie’s world film premiere of RocknRolla and I went along to capture some shots. Madonna looked happy to be able to attend the premiere despite currently being on tour!

  I got to live out a boyhood dream this week – I got up close and personal with the Batmobile at the Dark Knight premiere in Leicester Square! To see something like that drive through the crowd was spectacular – the fans adored it, and I’m pretty sure the stars of the film did too!

• Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday

  I’ve photographed Nelson Mandela many times before and was asked to join the celebrations for his 90th birthday here in London. The day was exhausting but I managed to capture a sweet moment of relaxed intimacy between husband and wife before more guests arrived and more photos were taken.

  I travelled up to Liverpool this weekend to attend the Stella Loves Liverpool fashion show. It was really good to see that Sir Paul and Yoko Ono were able to put their infamously fractious relationship behind them and enjoy a good old gossip at the show!

  Giorgio kindly invited me out to New York to photograph one of the most star studded events of the year. It was great to be able to capture such a line up of names and spend the evening partying with them. It was certainly a night to remember!!
